Sherry Lynn
Free in The Spirit Room:
Enjoy the acoustic sounds of Sherry Lynn playing folk, pop and country covers from the 70s and beyond. Sherry loves exploring the music of artists that have inspired her over a lifetime, like Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles, Bonnie Raitt, Carole King, Alison Krauss and the Chicks. Piano, guitar and ukulele accompany a sweet and expressive voice in a variety of styles. Sherry will take you from folk to pop, and from current country to classic standards.

Black Violin
Black Violin is composed of classically trained violist and violinist Wil Baptiste and Kev Marcus who combine their classical training and hip-hop influences to create a distinctive multi-genre sound that is often described as “classical boom”. The band released their major label debut Stereotypes (featuring Black Thought of The Roots and MC Pharoahe Monch) on Universal Music which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Classical Crossover Chart and #4 on the Billboard R&B Chart. NPR took note and declared “their music will keep classical music alive for the next generation”.

Jazz Flux
Free in The Spirit Room:
Jazz Flux is a group comprising several of Milwaukee's most active performing jazz musicians. The love of jazz has brought this group together to create and maintain one of America's great musical traditions. The group derives it's unique sound from elements of hip hop, R&B, and pop while incorporating elements of those genres into it's performances of traditional jazz.

Terminal 3
Three skilled musicians unite to create "progressive world music," blending ancient and modern influences. Greg Herriges, a guitar and bouzouki virtuoso, draws from global styles. Louis Sinclair, aka Rundio, plays the versatile Chapman Stick, while Michael Bissonnette showcases a range of percussion instruments. Their music spans Mediterranean folk, classic rock, surf-jazz, and original compositions. Herriges is an acclaimed composer, Rundio combines ambient and jazz elements, and Bissonnette is a celebrated drummer with a diverse background.

Joyann Parker - Classic Ladies of Country
With roots in the church and a solid foundation of musical education, Joyann Parker found her authentic voice later in life and created her own blend of roots music that combines soul, R&B, gospel, jazz and traditional blues styles. Parker has been a steadily rising star on the Midwest music scene and now brings her full range of talent as an accomplished singer, pianist, guitarist and songwriter to national and international stages.

John Nielsen and Nici Peper

John Nielsen, a Chippewa Valley native, captivates audiences with his rich 12-string guitar sound and interactive shows, often letting fans guide the setlist. Nici Peper complements with her soulful voice and heartfelt blend of gospel, folk, and blues. Together, they create unforgettable musical experiences.

Andy Hanson
Free in The Spirit Room:
Born from the ashes of various musical projects that reached their natural conclusion, Andy Hanson embarked on a solo journey. This journey begins in his home base of Eau Claire, WI, and unfolds through carefully crafted folk and Americana songs. At the heart of his music lies a deep yearning to explore the essence of life, death, and the musical avenues that can expel the shame and guilt born out of perceived social norms.

Cap'n Seabeard
Cap’n Seabeard is the name of a varying musical ensemble based on the songwriting of Christopher Schumacher. Playing a range of folk to rock and roll and even some things in between, the lineup changes between a solo act up to a four or five piece band; ensuring that each appearance is unique from the last.

Steely Dane
Winner of multiple awards for best tribute band, Steely Dane is dedicated to not only faithfully reproducing the Steely Dan and Donald Fagen songbook, but to bringing an energetic live-show experience to the crowd. Shows consist of hits and deep cuts and sometimes even complete albums and are sure to have you out of your seats singing along.

Garden Party

Garden Party is a trio who met as members of the Ukulele Club of Eau Claire. Folk, Pop, Americana. Guitar, Ukulele and Upright Bass. Sweet Harmony. Members include Teresa Jolivette, Marjorie Craemer and Tom Lockhart.

Gaelic Storm
It’s hard to imagine a band just coming into their own after 20 years of success, but that’s exactly what makes a true anomaly. This multi-national, Celtic juggernaut grows stronger with each live performance, and as you can imagine, after two decades and over 2000 shows, it is a true force to be reckoned with. Danú
Hailing from Counties Waterford, Cork, Dublin and Donegal in Ireland, Danú is one of the leading traditional Irish ensembles of today. For over 2 decades Danú's virtuosi players on flute, tin whistle, fiddle, button accordion, bouzouki, and vocals (Irish and English) have delighted audiences worldwide. Jim Nelson

Jim Nelson, a retired school teacher, is now a local singer-songwriter and an active member of the Chippewa Valley music scene. When he's not playing guitar with The Cutaways or bass with About a Boat, he spends his time writing and singing folky-countryish-Americana type songs.

Cathy Reitz and 7Swing
“Cathy Reitz & 7Swing,” led by Cathy and Jeff Reitz, delivers a rich musical experience with classics from the Great American Songbook, Big Band, and Swing eras, spanning pre-1920s to beyond 2020. Based in Eau Claire, their motto is: “Be happy, put a little jazz in your heart.”

Chris Herriges began playing various musical instruments at age nine at the gentle urging of artistic parents. Over the years, he has put out multiple CDs and performed throughout the Twin Cities. He continues to perform today and will be in the Spirit Room on January 31st at 7PM!

Jim "Doc" Miller

Jim “Doc” Miller is a Menomonie, Wisconsin based singer/acoustic guitarist who plays original "folk rock flavored" material as well as performing (and telling the stories behind ) a wide and eclectic range of covers drawn primarily from the Woodstock era of the 60s and 70s, from John Prine to progressive rock, Emmylou Harris to the British Invasion, Beatles to Stones, with deep dives into Cat Stevens, Gordon Lightfoot, John Fogerty, Paul Simon and Harry Chapin, while also showcasing contemporary, small-time folksingers nearly as obscure as Doc himself.

Cathy Reitz Trio

The Cathy Reitz Trio features Cathy on vocals and Melodica with some of her favorite musicians: Jeff Reitz on woodwinds, and either Emily Watkins on guitar/vocals or Nick Poss on piano. They have been performing together for over 20 years with a song list that spans a century of great music, from the Roaring '20s to the 2020s

Greg Herriges stirs a mix of original and traditional “progressive world music” on guitar, voice, and Greek bouzouki, with a unique approach honed by his studies of Asian, Mediterranean, and other worldly styles. An award-winning composer and performer, his music and writing have found international recognition. His solo & duo sets include lively instrumentals, inventive versions of rock and jazz standards, and mesmerizing world music.

Chippewa Valley Songwriter Circle

Founded in 2019 by Lee Mynett, the Chippewa Valley Songwriter Circle brings local songwriters together to create, share, and inspire. With about 20 members, the group meets monthly to write and perform in a supportive, creative space. Open to all who love songwriting.

Isaiah May
Free in The Spirit Room:
Isaiah May is a producer, singer-songwriter, and violinist from Dunn County, Wisconsin and is currently studying music production at Berklee College of Music in Boston Massachusetts. He has co-written and produced many tracks for other artists as well as playing in many artists’ bands. He released one original album entitled "East Coast Island Postcard" in 2022

The Memories 2024 - 6pm
The Memories celebrated their 50th Anniversary in 2022. Original member, John Lynch performed several reunion concerts with Tim & Warren including their annual December Christmas Concert. “The Boys” will be on stage together again at the Mabel Tainter to help celebrate the Holiday Season.

The music of John Denver is timeless and well known. Layne Yost's "Tribute to the Music of John Denver" is a faithful tribute that pays homage to the music and the man. Yost, McDowall, and Shimoda capture the simple soul of Denver's music through guitar, fiddle, and upright bass arrangements. Woven within the music are stories that give insight into Denver's life and legacy. A wonderful show that will take you back and remind you of simple things that remain true.
