Jim “Doc” Miller is a Menomonie, Wisconsin based singer/acoustic guitarist who plays original "folk rock flavored" material as well as performing (and telling the stories behind ) a wide and eclectic range of covers drawn primarily from the Woodstock era of the 60s and 70s, from John Prine to progressive rock, Emmylou Harris to the British Invasion, Beatles to Stones, with deep dives into Cat Stevens, Gordon Lightfoot, John Fogerty, Paul Simon and Harry Chapin, while also showcasing contemporary, small-time folksingers nearly as obscure as Doc himself.
