Take2Day Duo is the musical collaboration of chanteuse Barbara Lyon and pianist-composer Patrick Pesek-Herriges. In the 90s, they were part of the Reunion Blues band. In 2008, the duo presented a CD release concert at the Mabel Tainter. The T2D franchise expanded to Quartet in recent years, leading to another CD of original songs (“now is when”). Barbara and Patrick have been regulars in Menomonie musical theater productions. The duo’s eclectic playlist includes jazz repertoire, Patrick’s jazz-based originals, and “standards”— both the old and the “new standards” drawn from pop and rock. Three decades of partnership have deepened the T2D Duo’s joy of performance.
