Lorin Divine:

A long way from home Lorin Divine started writing songs in the Army while overseas in Korea and Iraq. He initially started guitar as a means to accompany himself singing but then progressed to study the guitar as a solo instrument as well. A lifelong music enthusiast who has studied trumpet, voice, piano, violin, ukulele, and guitar, he has used music as an adjunct to his nursing practice and has been able to provide music to local hospitalized patients in both the home and hospital settings. He is blessed to have witnessed the power of music relieve symptoms of pain, anxiety/agitation, delirium, and calm “sun-downing” patients suffering from dementia. In addition to having a family and working full time as a nurse he is currently studying classical guitar and violin, and regularly provides music for his local church congregation in addition to other small scale concerts on request.

Jeff Jaworski:

Guitarist Jeffrey Jaworski teaches guitar and ukulele as part of the Voyagers After School program at Chippewa Falls Middle School. Recent performances include programs in Milwaukee, Menomonie, River Falls and Eau Claire, WI. Jeffrey studied classical guitar at the University of Wisconsin-Waukesha where he earned his Associate’s Degree and the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay where he earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music in 2003. In addition to playing the guitar Jeffrey enjoys volunteering and outdoor activities.
